Trip to Guthrie
This past May our group went to Guthrie, Oklahoma for an outreach at Guthrie Church of Faith on Memorial day weekend. Arriving there, Pastor Hans greeted us in love at his church. After unloading the van, there was no time for a break so we gathered together to make arrangements for the outreach. After we prayed, Han’s dismissed us into separate groups so we could outreach to the community. A group of us went to walmart while the others went to homeland to hand out fliers and to witness whoever we could get ahold of. After the outreach we then partook of Sonic's happy hour to quench our thirst. (They were slushies). Later that day we got to play basketball with some cool guys at a park, Rachel made everyone look bad on the basketball court. Way to go Rachel. Later that evening we went to Stables- a restaraunt, a heavenly all you can eat glorious rib smorgusboard of pork, pork ribs, bbq chicken, polish sausage, potato salad, and all the fixins. It was the mind of Christ.
We woke up Sunday morning early to have a miracle service at the church. We had the priveledge to lead worship and watch God mightily use Hans. It was an awesome experience and a lot of people were touched.
