Brazil Recap

I want to thank you for praying for me while I was in Brazil last month.  I think it is impossible to truly describe the impact it had on my life.  I was deeply touched by how they welcomed and received me.  I found a group of hungry believers who wanted more of God and more of His Love.  My first trip in early July I landed in São Paulo; one of the largest cities in the world, and had to change planes from American Airlines to a Brazilian airline.  After I was checked in through customs I quickly navigated through the huge airport, stopping every few minutes to ask directions and thankfully I found enough English speaking people to help me.  I then hopped on a plane and flew for three hours to the city of Goiânia and was greeted by Pastor Eber and a few other friends.  It was a wonderful time of fellowship as I got to know Pastor Eber and his family.  Eber has been a pastor for many years now and his family has grown with him in ministry so we had much in common.  I preached at his church for a few days and at a national bible college as well.  Many people were touched and healed as well as many were baptized in the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Eber and I took another Brazilian plane to the city of Barretos which is a cowboy type city.  The largest rodeo in the world is held there every year where people come from around the world come to enjoy a few weeks of wrestling cattle and eating Brazilian BBQ.  I was there to speak at the National Conference of Ministers.  There were about one hundred and forty churches represented from all around Brazil for a week of meetings.  There were well over 2,000 people who traveled in for these meetings and it was wonderful to see what God was doing.  I met a new friend in the man who pastors the church there.  His name is Eryck and I really enjoyed meeting his family.  Pastor Eryck and his wife Débora have two children of their own but have adopted three children from different places around the world.  One girl came from a place where the girls are sold into prostitution at a young age.  One of his smallest boys was beaten so bad by his father that his nose was crushed and that is when Pastor Eryck took him in as his own.  His other boy was diagnosed with aids and after being adopted into the family was  pronounced healed by the doctors (he is the boy in the photo who is playing guitar on the stage).  God has blessed this family with a church that holds five thousand members in a city of only one hundred thousand.  You can see why I was touched by this group.  They call the ministry in Brazil “to hear and to believe”.  It was an honor to preach and pray for them and to see many, many miracles.

One man had throat cancer disappear overnight and woke up with his voice restored.  Deaf ears where opened and many others where healed as the presence of God fell on the crowd.  His love was definantly present.  I made another great friend who drove me around, his name was Ricardo, and I think that God is going to soon use him in a mighty way.   I want to thank you again for praying for me because all of these wonderful relationships came into place because of prayer.

When it was done in Barretos I hopped onto a Brazilian prop plane and flew to São Paulo

to catch my jet back home.  I came back home for a few days and did a lot of wrestling around with Harrison then returned back to Brazil with Pastor Dave Roberson for his conference in Alphaville.  Ana Maria Diaz hosts this meeting and as always it was powerful with many great miracles.  The people that help in Alphaville are also becoming wonderful friends.

After eleven different airplanes and losing my luggage three times I finally got home to see my family.  I truly had a great time in Brazil and I know that I will be going back again and again over the course of my lifetime.  I want to ask you to pray for our next trip which will be Aug 30 thru Sept 18th.  Christy, Harrison, Ava and myself are heading up north to Canada.  We will be spending time with my family and letting Harrison and Ava discover how many Aunts and Cousins they really have.  I will be ministering at a few churches on this trip and will also be filming t.v. with the Miracle Channel.  At the end of the trip we will swing by Spokane WA, for a few days as well.

We love you and appreciate your kindness towards us, please keep us in your prayers.
